Cardinal Bank Community Fund has awarded a $5,000 grant to Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts. Founded in 1985 as a cooperative effort by the City of Fairfax and George Mason University, Spotlight aims to enhance the community’s awareness of the many arts and cultural opportunities offered in Fairfax and the surrounding area.

Cardinal Regional President F. Kevin Reynolds, Executive Vice President Eleanor Schmidt, and Brad Leiby, Vice President and Spotlight board member, presented the check to John Mason, President of the Board of Directors for Spotlight on the Arts. Through its grant program, the Cardinal Bank Community Fund has directly benefited more than 60 local organizations and service programs since its inception.
