CPC organized the drive for supplies, like backpacks, notebooks, binders, paper, pencils and markers, for students in need. Sheriff’s deputies and other staff met inside the gym at Charles Houston Recreation Center to pick up the supplies which were organized and bundled for specific schools.

Teams collected the supplies and delivered them to assigned schools Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 29 so this week ACPS social workers will be able to distribute them to eligible students.
