Greater McLean Chamber to Present Business and Community Awards

The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Business and Community Awards on Oct. 2 at the 3rd Annual Suits and Sneakers event. Held at Claude Moore Colonial Farm (6310 Georgetown Pike, McLean), the festivities will run from 6 until 9 p.m.

This year's Business and Community Award recipients include:

*Non-Profit of the Year: PRS, Inc. (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services)

*Corporate Partner: Giant of McLean

*Small Business of the Year: Frank & Company

*Corporation of the Year: Capital One Bank

*Youth Recognition Award: Will Thomas, Operation Hawkeye

*Community Volunteers of the Year: McLean Winterfest Committee—Trish Butler, Lynn Gulick, Clyde Clark, Homer Johns, Maureen Scholz, Marcia Twomey, Leigh Bowes, Vance S. In addition to the awards ceremony, the event will include a wine and beer tasting, a food demonstration by Seasons 52, a signature tequila specialty drink demonstration and tasting by La Sandia Mexican Restaurant, and much more.
