Jennifer Howe, dental careers teacher at the Chantilly Academy, A Governor's STEM Academy, was recognized and honored as the Career & Technical Education "Educator of the Year." The celebration of the "Educator of the Year" was during the opening of the annual Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce's evening education fund-raising Casino Royale event held at the Westfields Marriott on Feb. 8. The event recognized outstanding educators from area schools including Centreville, Chantilly, Loudoun and Herndon. The event also served as the chamber’s signature Education and Workforce initiative which supports scholarships for students and funding for homeless shelters that support students in the area.
