WES To Present ‘Little Mermaid Jr.’

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. will be performed by the sixth-grade class of Washington Episcopal School, on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. Tickets for each show are $5. The matinee performance is followed by a pizza/lunch meet and greet with cast members in full costume at 11:30 a.m. Tickets for this event are $8 including pizza and performance. All performances are open to the public.

The 60-minute musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated feature film. The sixth-grade cast contains 28 students led by Performing Arts Director Ron Valenzia.
