Red Carpet choices show non-traditional gemstones are making strides in high fashion. The Grammys 2013 included a “dress code” which propelled most attendees to bring their most glamorous fashions to the limelight. In the past this would mean diamonds, diamonds and more diamonds, but a surprising trend is evolving and Jorge Adeler, of Adeler Jewelers in Great Falls, is right on the mark.

“Katy Perry wore one of our beautiful aqua green Chalcedony rings to the Grammys and looked stunning. She helped show that color is welcome in black-tie and formal situations while still looking polished and appropriate,” said Adeler.

This trend continued at the 2013 Academy Awards where gemstones with color were prominent. “Not only did we see color,” said Adeler, “but Halle Berry, wearing our druzy black onyx earrings during her Bond presentation, showed that distinctive cuts and faceting choices can rock the stage.”

Adeler Jewelers is a custom design jewelry store that has been servicing the Great Falls and wider community since 1975. They specialize in unique gems, pearls, diamonds and authentic ancient coins, all creatively mounted in platinum, 18k and 14k gold.
