Reston Environmental Action (REACT)

Is a non-profit organization of residents working within their neighborhood or building to increase green habits. Everyone one is welcome to attend the REACT annual meeting, with guest speaker Erin Trager discussing offshore wind power in Virginia, on Wednesday, October 2nd at Walker Center Nature House at 7:30 p.m. To encourage recycling, eco-friendly yard and garden care, greener transportation or energy conservation, email info@restonenvironmentalaction.org or call 703-620-0151.

Sweet Virginia Foundation, Inc.

Sweet Virginia Foundation is Northern Virginia's charitable beekeeping cooperative whose mission is to promote urban/suburban beekeeping and provide educational and volunteer opportunities for adults and children. Sweet Virginia uses the fine honey it produces from local honeybee colonies to raise funds for local charities dedicated to serving the needs of those most vulnerable in our local community. Supported organizations include Homestretch, Fairfax CASA, The Northern Virginia Conservation Trust, Fairfax Families4Kids and several more small scale, DC area non-profits focused on serving the most vulnerable among us. Cornerstones (formerly Reston Interfaith)

Reston Interfaith helps those that are homeless and struggling in Northern Virginia to build more stable lives by connecting them to vital resources that solve their needs for housing, child care, food or financial assistance. Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Foundation
