Dranesville District Supervisor John Foust and Signe Friedrichs, executive director of the Council for the Arts of Herndon delivered an assortment of new shoes and gift cards donated by Dranesville residents and members of the Council for the Arts of Herndon to Hutchison Elementary School Principal Judy Baldwin on Monday, Dec. 16.
Supervisor Foust and Executive Director Friedrichs were delighted to deliver many pairs of shoes and gift cards for this year’s drive, the fifth consecutive year of the program. The gifts demonstrate the generosity of the community in supporting needy students attending Hutchison Elementary School in Herndon.
“I am so pleased to take part again in this wonderful and worthy cause,” Supervisor Foust said. “Thank you to all of the individuals who brought in donations for our shoe and gift card drive. I really enjoyed meeting all of the great children at Hutchison Elementary School and being able to give them your donations.”
