Marcella A. Urban, Reston resident for more than five years, died peacefully at Sunrise Senior Living in Oakton on June 5. Originally from Wichita, Kan., Marcella resided in Kent Ohio with her husband, Daniel (deceased), for more than 60 years. She was an active member of the Thoreau House community as well as St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She is survived by daughter, Diana Eichler, of Reston, and David Urban, of Falls Church. Surviving siblings Katie Clasen, Dick Ridder, and Jim Ridder reside in Wichita, Kan. Grandchildren include Jeremy Eichler, Katie Eichler Jones, Meg Eichler, Elizabeth Urban, Stephanie Urban Desai, Louis Sears, John Sears, Peter Morrisey, Adam Morrisey. Great grandchildren: Sophia and William Jones, and Dylan Desai.
Burial and funeral mass will take place in Kent, Ohio at a date to be announced. Donations may be made to Catholic Charities.
