The following incidents were reported by the Fair Oaks Police Station.
ASSAULT/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 3900 block of Fair Ridge Drive, Aug. 19 at about 2:48 a.m. The victim was getting into his vehicle when a man approached, yelling derogatory words and swinging a baton. The suspect struck the windshield with the baton then fled on foot. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. The victim did not sustain any physical injury. A 19-year-old man from Fairfax was charged with simple assault and destruction of property.
SEX OFFENSE, Lee Jackson Memorial Highway near West Ox Road, Aug. 16 at about 12:41 a.m. The victim took a cab in Arlington. The victim fell asleep and awoke to find the driver of the cab inappropriately touching her. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as Asian male, 50s, gray hair, wearing a dark-colored shirt, blue jeans and sandals.
ROBBERY, 3000 block of Centreville Road, Aug. 16, at about 11:03 p.m. A man entered the Vocellis Pizza, displayed a handgun to an employee and demanded money. The suspect took cash and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 17 to 20 years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds, wearing all black clothing, a black ski mask covering his face and black gloves.
ROBBERY, 13300 block of Franklin Farm Road, Aug. 15 at about 10:31 p.m. A man entered the Sunoco gas station, displayed a handgun to an employee and demanded money. The suspect took cash and merchandise and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as male of unknown race, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, 155 to 180 pounds and wearing a full face mask, black jacket, black pants and gloves.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 13100 block of Rounding Run Circle, Aug. 14. A resident reported an unknown person entered the residence. Nothing was taken.
