Fairfax County Police arrested Andre Curtis Wilkins, 21, of Waldorf, Md. on Dec. 4 and charged him with malicious wounding related to the Nov. 18 shooting death of Marquel L. Davis, 21, of Audubon Avenue.
Wilkins was identified and reported by two callers who contacted police in the afternoon using the Crime Solvers tip line. He was seen around the Audubon Road area of Hybla Valley. The shooting took place in an apartment on the 7900 block of the same road.
Two other men were non-fatally wounded — police believe in relation to Davis’ shooting — and hospitalized at the time.
The Office of the Medical Examiner ruled Davis’ death a homicide, due to gunshot wounds to the torso and extremities.
