Welcoming Spring at Churchill Road

On the first day of Spring, Churchill Road second graders Caleb Wolford, Jina Ranka, Sophie Blankenstein and Daniel Hwang, showed off their library books about the Spring season in front of the school during a snowstorm.

Students from all four Churchill Road first grade classes gave an energetic performance of their musical, “How Does Your Garden Grow?” in the hopes that it would help bring on better weather.

Despite the wintry weather, Churchill Road first and second graders are preparing for spring. While Cindy Zemke’s second graders learned that flowers bloom in spring, they were a bit puzzled by the snow on the first day of the season. First graders from all four classes (Mrs. Libby Diffie, Ms. Mary-Lynn Robosky, Mr. Dave Suchoski and Mrs. Lisa Williams) hoped for warmer weather as they performed their springtime musical, “How Does Your Garden Grow?”
