Churchill Road kindergartners have spent the last several weeks studying Martin Luther King, Jr. The students learned about his life and how he worked to make the world a better place. Students in Ms. Barbara Lewis’s class made cut-paper portraits of Dr. King and wrote facts about his life on their portraits. Students in Mrs. Erin Thurston’s class listened to his “I Have a Dream Speech” and wrote about their own dreams for the world.
