Our Daily Bread to Help School Children

Our Daily Bread is collecting cash, backpacks and calculators through Aug. 5. The goal is to help more than 2,500 of the neediest children who attend Fairfax High School, JEB Stuart High School, the elementary and middle schools that feed into them, and a few other Central Fairfax schools that have requested help. Through partnership with Fairfax County's Collect for Kids program, ODB has the buying power to supply children with everything they need for $15 or less. If you can help,

  • Donate now through secure web site or mail a check. $30 will help two students; any amount will make a big difference!

  • Drop Off backpacks and scientific calculators through Aug. 5 at at ODB office or partner businesses: STEM exCEL (Fairfax City), Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute (Chantilly), Dr. Snehal Patel, DDS (Lorton and Springfield Offices).

Order backpacks and calculators through Amazon.com or Dollar Days Wish Lists, and they will be sent directly to ODB. Sponsor the program.
