The Alexandria Police Department has made an arrest in a robbery that occurred at the SunTrust Bank located at 2809 Mount Vernon Ave. on May 27. Kegni Omar Granados, 27, of Alexandria, was arrested on June 16, and charged with robbery. He is being held without bond.
On Friday, May 27, at 12:15 p.m., a man entered the bank and passed the teller a note. He demanded money, the teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.
