Drivers, Volunteers Needed for Shepherd’s Center

The Shepherd’s Center of McLean, Arlington and Falls Church continues to receive calls from countless numbers of people who need transportation to and from medical and therapy appointments, the pharmacy and grocery store.

The Center has grown rapidly during 2015 and needs more volunteers willing to help with not only transportation but people willing to visit homebound individuals and to make phone calls to those unable to leave their homes just to let them know they haven’t been forgotten.

No long-term commitment is required and you accept to take someone to a medical appointment, make a visit or call only when your schedule permits.

To find out more about the Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church and how you can become a volunteer driver, visitor or caller, call the Center at 703-506-2199 or e-mail the Center at info@scmafc.org. The Center’s website is www.scmafc.org.
