For the first time since 1824, the Marquis de Lafayette was back in Alexandria. The French military commander, instrumental in the American Revolution, as portrayed by Michael Halbert, joined with members of the Gadsby’s Tavern Museum Society to accept a proclamation from the City and advertise its Springtime in Paris Ball to raise funds to benefit the museum.
