A series of outreach activities was held last week, with two consultants from BWP Associates, to solicit views from parents in Arlington about what they wanted to see in a new superintendent to replace Dr. Patrick Murphy, who announced his retirement in June. Along with the outreach activities, BWP will incorporate the results of a survey sent out to parents, teachers, and students, asking questions about APS.
The survey, available in five languages, including Mongolian, Spanish, Amharic, and Arabic, allows parents, teachers, and students to provide their views on what the next superintendent should look like. It will close on February 2.
