VERNON District Planning Commissioner Earl Flanagan, a former U.S. Army infantry forward observer who called in artillery strikes while fighting the Nazis in Germany, France, and Austria, also participated in helping Jews who were imprisoned in death camps. That was 64 years ago. Voters Approve School Bond
Bond passes by 70 percent.
