Opening Saturday, March 15, the Leesburg Animal Park, 19720 James Monroe Highway, Leesburg, kicks off the 2008 season with new exhibits and expanded offerings for groups, parties and picnics. Welcome to Alf and Candy, two white handed gibbons. Watch their brachiating (arm over arm travel) and other antics in their custom built playhouse. Three new Grant’s zebras are featured in this year’s naming contest. Ideas can be submitted to CritterPark@gmail.com. The winner will be given free passes to the Park.
