The SYA Velocity, with an undefeated record, became the 13-year-old Division 2 champions of the Braddock Road Youth Club Holiday Basketball Tournament, held Dec. 29-30. The team went 4-0 to capture the tournament win. The Velocity has an overall record of 13-0 with two tournament victories going into 2009.
