All types of books can be found at Reston Used Book Shop. When Bud and Sue Burwell purchased the bookstore in 1999, there were just over 22,000 books. Immediately upon purchasing the bookstore, the Burwells expanded the space by purchasing an adjacent storefront, allowing space for nearly double the number of books.

In an era when bookstores nationwide are facing rising competition from Internet booksellers and new technology, Reston Used Book Shop, on Lake Anne Plaza, celebrated its 34th anniversary in early January.
