Raising Awareness, Money at Fairfax High

Seniors organize fundraising for Lou Gehrig’s Disease

For three Fairfax High School seniors--Hannah Kostoff, Carley Rolincik and Ryan Hess--a school marketing project became an opportunity to advance a noble cause. On Saturday, Jan. 12, the three seniors organized a fundraising and awareness event for the Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

I am amazed! I can not believe what a wonderful action these teenagers just did. First of all you have to have something to give something, like clothes, money or food. I learned from my mentor Ryan Deiss that if you give away you will receive back twice more. I am sure that the organization will know what to do with the money.

I'm glad teenagers nowadays volunteer for noble causes. As a hint for future activities, many of the potential sponsors have children and will bring them along, so I think it would be a great idea to bring a Stoelting machine in the building. We all know kids love ice cream and happy kids equals happy parents, equals generous sponsors.

Thank you for these wonderful tips! I really want to save money for my child's education. It's quite difficult to live decently in these difficult times. For my extra online work I use the free Invoice Template because in this way I save some money.
