Hendry House is a well-kept secret; many of the guests at the reception had never heard of it, but this turn-of-the-century bungalow has been used as a site for local weddings since its restoration a few years ago. Its fields, steep slopes, huge oaks, and a peace garden planted by the Hendry family to celebrate the end of World War II is the backdrop for a novel which has several Arlingtonians as characters.
