The second annual Global Dance Showcase with be held on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at Fredgren Studio Theatre, 3443 Carlin Springs Road, Falls Church. Sponsored by BalletNova, the event will feature performances from Furia Flamenca, a Spanish flamenco dance company; Nomad Dancers, a collective inspired by dance traditions of Iran, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, India and Turkey; Four Seasons Dance Group, presenting dances from Armenia and Russia; and Jayantika Dance Company, specializing in Odissi dance from India.
