“Shake Loose” is a musical production featuring the music and lyrics of Thomas W. Jones, William Hubbard and William Knowles. “A musical odyssey” of African American people in the 20th century, “Shake Loose” celebrates the gospel tradition, and the African American icons, who invented the jazz, blues, and R&B. “Shake Loose” will run at MetroStage, 1201 N.
