Julie Duke, a volunteer assisting to refurbish a room in Church of the Resurrection, stretches up to the ceiling with the first swatch of blue paint. By Oct. 24 this room will be transformed into the first food pantry in the West End of Alexandria. This pantry will be open on Monday from 7-9 p.m.
