Virginia Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, Democratic gubernatorial candidate, leads Republican candidate Ed Gillespie 51-41 percent, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll released on Sept. 19. Libertarian candidate Cliff Hyra is at 3 percent.
