Grace Harasimowicz was a supporting character in the Key Middle School Theater’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘The King and I.’ Although only in elementary school, she and her elementary-school aged sister Anna Lily became involved in the production after her brother Josh Harasimowicz’s liver transplant 11 weeks prior. Because Josh Harasimowicz needed to be accompanied by an adult to rehearsals, Grace and Anna Lily spent their afternoons at rehearsal with their mother. Director and Theater instructor Susan Cobb decided to incorporate them into the production.
