Current honors history and US history teacher Paula Spencer began her Woodson career in 1975, continued it through the 80s and 90s, and retired briefly in 2000 before resuming work in 2001. “As we progressed through [the 80s] it was a time of continuity and of significant changes,” she said in her speech.
