Sun shades were a must at the May 18 hunt races, a welcome accessory by many who recalled rainy past events and mud at the Kiplinger race course. Above, (left) former Potomac resident Peter Stupar, came from San Francisco for the event and to escort his mother Helen Stupar, many years a Potomac resident. Leonard Proctor, (center) and dozens more partook of Devereaux Raskauskas’ (right) tailgate lunch.
