There are endless articles and comments about women's issues, health care, and the economy. Citizens complain about taxes,size of government and the price of gas. The issues MOST important to me are energy, environment in general, and climate science. Energy is mentioned sometimes, but it is extremely rare to see or hear anything about fundamental environmental and climate issues that are the physical framework for all of our other endeavors.

If we do not sustain a livable environment, move FAST toward "green energy" and incorporate climate change considerations into all of our thinking -- health will plummet, temperatures and extreme weather events will continue to increase, and we will find ourselves at a point where money seems a whole lot less significant.

We need to elect representatives and leaders who are "science-savvy" and think ahead (such as Tim Kaine for Senate and President Obama). by AnnHCsonka
