Detectives from the Reston District Station's Criminal Investigation Section obtained information that stolen property was in an apartment rented by Michael Star, 45. On Thursday, June 3, a search of Star's apartment, located on Rolling Fork Circle in the Herndon area, led to the recovery of numerous stolen items, including the a life-sized sculpture of a woman. Detectives are reviewing open theft and burglary cases to determine if the found property is related. Star was charged with grand larceny and is being held without bond at the Adult Detention Center.
