Serbian Crown Hosts Piano Jam
Great Falls restaurant now features monthly open mic night.
Jennifer Flynn of Vienna stopped by the Serbian Crown Restaurant Thursday, Aug. 23 because she had heard about the highly-rated cuisine. What she didn’t expect was the latest edition of Piano Jam, the restaurant’s monthly open mic night.
ArtSpace Hosts Paint Herndon
Local adult, teen and youth painters take to streets Saturday.
Hannah Cameron Cadenazzi came into this year’s Paint Herndon with some big shoes to fill. Her sister Mhairi won the youth competition last year, and Hannah aimed to do the same thing: spend Saturday, Sept. 1, painting her entry for the annual art contest.

Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living is Paris is a classic. It landed in New York in 1968 with an English translation and played at the Village Gate for four years.
Pupcakes Raise $1,000
For five days the girls sold the decorated pupcakes. Their personal goal was $500.
Rising Hope Food Pantry in Critical Need
“We’re getting by day-to-day.”
“We’re getting by day-to-day, hour-by-hour,” said Sarah Heckman who manages the pantry. “I’m coming in the mornings and really praying God will put food on the shelves. I don’t think people know how much it takes to feed over 900 people a week.”
