Leesburg Pike (Route 7) will be expanded from 6 lanes to 8 lanes between Route 123 and the Dulles Toll Road as part of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail construction. The Route 7 expansion is necessary to make room for the future Metrorail line through Tysons Corner.
