The Rev. Karen Rasmussen, who was denied a request for a marriage license on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, accepted hugs and best wishes from supporters of marriage equality at an event at the Fairfax County courthouse on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Organized by several faith groups, including the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fairfax.
