L’Hermione, an exact replica of the ship that brought the Marquis de Lafayette to America in 1780, makes its way to the Alexandria City Marina in the early morning hours of June 10. The reconstructed tall ship will be docked along the waterfront through June 12 as part of a 12 stop U.S. tour commemorating Lafayette’s historic voyage and role in the American Revolution.
