A 46-year-old Fairfax man is facing more than a decade in prison after being indicted last week by a Federal grand jury in Alexandria. He is Padraic Collins, and he was indicted Thursday, Jan. 23, on a charge of production of child pornography.

Fatal Crash in Chantilly A 56-year-old Ashburn man died Tuesday following a car crash on the Fairfax County Parkway near Franklin Farm Road. The incident occurred March 20 shortly before 1 p.m. Fairfax County police say the man was driving southbound on the parkway and, for unknown reasons, left the roadway just past Franklin Farm Road and struck the sound wall.
Fairfax City Council Greenlights Old Lee Highway Survey
Questions about project’s scope still remain.
The results are in and City of Fairfax residents have now given their opinions on how best to improve Old Lee Highway. So the Fairfax City Council has authorized a survey of the entire corridor to obtain more information before going further with the project.
