A 67-year-old Fairfax Station man was sentenced last week to more than four years in federal prison. The punishment followed George Ronald Marion’s conviction for crossing state lines to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor, plus possession of child pornography.

15 Cappie Nominations For Local Schools
The 2014-15 Cappie nominations for high-school theater were announced Monday night, with two local schools garnering a total of 15 nominations. Fairfax High received nine nods for “Big: The Musical,” and Paul VI got six for its play, “The Miracle Worker.”
