She and a fundraising and support team called “Pray for Tara” wore special, pink T-shirts and participated in last Saturday’s, March 23, Rev3 Run Rogue 5K and 1K at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center.

Since 1960, the Fairfax Salvation Army has provided residents with utility and rent assistance, food, clothing and furniture on an emergency basis. It also provides toys and bicycles to needy children during the Christmas holidays. In 2011, it assisted 1,250 families.
Rochefort: Officer of the Year

PFC Brian G. Rochefort has been named the Sully District Police Station’s 2015 Officer of the Year. And although he couldn’t be present to receive his award, he was honored during the Feb. 10 meeting of the station’s Citizens Advisory Committee.

Local Man Charged with Setting Fires

Culminating months of work, investigators from the Fairfax County Fire Marshal’s Office have charged a local man with two felonies for allegedly setting fires in homes while their occupants were asleep.
City Council Honors PVI Hoops Teams
