McLean Community Center Governing Board Meet
The Governing Board of the McLean Community Center will hold its first meeting of the year at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. All Governing Board meetings are open to the public. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue. Tax district residents (Small District One A-Dranesville) who wish to speak during the “Citizen Comment” portion of the meeting are asked to call the Center at 703-790-0123, TTY: 711 to be placed on the agenda.
Signature Theatre Hosts Open House
The music started at noon on stage in the MAX, a Signature Theatre highlights concert — looking ahead to the new season, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” “Hello Dolly!,” and “Company.”
‘The Little Mermaid Jr.’ on Stage
Fish swim in schools and last week’s big catch was Washington Episcopal School’s production of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.” which was performed by 28 members of the sixth-grade in two casts.

Anna M. Shade, a long time resident of Reston, passed away while residing at Monroe House.

The county’s History Task Force has made its final recommendations to the county manager for how to preserve Arlington’s history online. Using an online survey, they garneted 450 responses, to determine how to make archival information available to residents online in the most effective way.
