‘Welcome to Virginia’ Sign Unveiled at Dulles International Airport
On Jan. 6, Governor Terry McAuliffe unveiled a new “Welcome to Virginia” sign at Dulles International Airport (IAD), welcoming travelers to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dulles is a major hub for domestic and international travel, servicing about 22 million travelers a year traveling to 83 nonstop domestic and 50 nonstop international destinations. The new signage is the first of its kind at IAD.

And her wish was granted - and granted - and granted again.

Outrageously Funny and Deadly Serious
Unquiet Theatre brings the edgy, bold "Some Girls" to Workhouse.
The Workhouse continues to be a "go-to" incubator venue for new theater companies in Northern Virginia. Next up is Unquiet Theater Company and its production of Neil LaBute's "Some Girls." LaBute is a film director and screenwriter as well as a playwright. The Workhouse marketing material described LaBute as "American theater's great agent provocateur" and the show is " by turns outrageously funny and deadly serious."

Lake Fairfax pool facility to be expanded, construction begins September.
With a lazy river and water slides, the outdoor pool has been a great attraction for families and visitors, but size and capacity limitations have increased the waiting times for patrons.
