Bowen McCauley Dance was formed in 1996 by Lucy Bowen McCauley. blending modern dance with ballet. The group will be performing a reprise of "Ich Bin..." with Hesperus, a noted early music ensemble, on Oct. 15 at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theatre.

The Center Dance Company was created to provide opportunities for accomplished dance professionals to choreograph and perform, to train young dancers for performance in a professional environment and to raise public awareness of dance as an art form. The Center Dance Company performs classical and contemporary ballet, modern dance and theatrical tap. The company will put on a winter production in the first week of December at Thomas Jefferson Theatre, 125 S. Glebe Road.

Crossroads Dance is an ensemble of professionally trained modern and ballet dancers dedicated to enriching the lives of adults and children through dance. Crossroads fuses international and American folk dance with modern dance. Their 2002-2003 season will begin with the fall concert "Joy of Motion," Sept. 27-29, at the Jack Guidone Theatre.
