A New Student's Perspective

In Lee Drama they don't judge you if you're not dressed to the "norm" or even if you have an accent from Alabama (like I do). As a new student to Lee I didn't fit in, as most new students don't, but the students in drama made me welcome and less at a distance from this new world. Being in drama isn't like being constantly in a play but it's fun and you learn all kinds of different stuff. But no place is perfect. We do have our occasional love triangles or squares. Lee drama is a really good place to meet some, well — to say the least — extroverted people. The drama department at Lee is not all fun and games but it is sometimes very serious and hard, but the rewards are like the nectar and ambrosia of the gods. We have room for all types like the old jingle goes "fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks, tough kids, sissy kids and even kids with chicken pox!" And if you're looking for a place to hang out in the mornings, then there's no better place than the drama room. (And if you're a female, ask for Corey!)

Note for you guy actors and techies — there's some really hot girls here. But you come for the girls and you stay for Mrs. Weiss-Null's great teaching experience.
