The Environmental Quality Advisory Council of Fairfax County is seeking a high school student interested in serving on the council from July 2005 through June 2006. As a member of the council, the student will be involved in the process of making decisions and recommendations that impact the environment in the county. High school sophomores or juniors in good standing who are residents of Fairfax County, Clifton, Herndon or Vienna may apply. Homeschooled students may also apply. Applications are available from the science department chair, guidance counselor, social studies chair or principal of each public, private or parochial school in Fairfax County.
