<lst>Neil A. Moyer and Abdelmola I. Lenghi, both of Vienna, earned dean's list status at Coastal Carolina University for the fall semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.

Jonathan Bocek and Colleen Fulco of Vienna earned dean's list honors for the 2005 fall semster at Lynchburg College.

Myung-Hoon Lee of Oakton was named to the dean's list at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, in the fall of 2005.

Alexander Gillula, the son of Olga and James Gillula of Vienna, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester.

William Thomas Hillman Terzian of Vienna has been named to the dean's list of Hampden-Sydney College.

Laura Spencer of Oakton has been named to the dean's list of the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University.

James Madison High School graduate Chrissie Nelson, class of 2005, closed out her first college swimming season at Lawrence University in February by posting personal bests in three individual events and two relays. Nelson, who swam four seasons for the Warhawks as a 500 freestyle specialist, topped her previous 400-yard individual medley time by almost 25 seconds, swimming a 5:06.93, and placing sixth in the Midwest Conference Championship meet, held on the Lawrence University campus in Appleton. She now has her name inscribed on the Viking Women's Top Times board at the Boldt Natatorium at Lawrence. Nelson is the eighth-fastest swimmer in the history of the Division III Lawrence women's team in the event.

Michelle Elizabeth Newhouse of Vienna, a freshman at James Madison University, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2005.
