‘Timeless’ Author Comes to Fairfax
Lucinda Franks Morgenthau, author of “Timeless: Love, Morgenthau, and Me,” will share her new memoir at a Northern Virginia j.talks event on Thursday, Dec. 4. J.talks, conversations with authors and artists, is a program of the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Lucinda Franks interviewed Robert Morgenthau, and before she walked out his door the two had fallen in love with each other.

The Snowquester Hits the Area
Snowstorm’s impact downgraded, but slushy roads still a problem.
The National Weather Service Wednesday downgraded its Snowquester forecast from 8-10 inches to about 4-6 inches in the region. At 3:18 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, the NWS predicted total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches in Fairfax County before the storm fizzles out later that night, and north winds with gusts up to 45 mph in some areas, making driving hazardous.

Artisphere Yarn Bomb Brightens Rosslyn's Streets Wilson Blvd. between Rosslyn Metro and Artisphere Cupid's Garden Sculpture (intersection of Wilson Blvd., Nash St. and Oak St.) The Artisphere Yarn Bomb is here! More than 1,000 colorful, hand-stitched geometric shapes adorn six trees along Wilson Blvd., between the Rosslyn Metro and Artisphere, Arlington’s visual and performing arts center. An additional installation, featuring vines, flowers and 19 animals of all shapes and sizes, surrounds Cupid's Garden at the intersection of Wilson Blvd., Nash St. and Oak St.
