Sickles Out of Touch

Letter to the Editor

<bt>I recently received a very negative mailing from Mark Sickles (D) attacking Del. Tom Bolvin (R-43rd) and calling him too lazy to fight for us. In his political propaganda, Mr. Sickles assails Del. Bolvin's legislation which regulated parking of trailers and boats on the streets of our communities. I live in the Manchester Lakes area of the district, where large boats and trailers obstructed views and were a public safety hazard. If it had not been for Del. Bolvin's bill, we would still have those vehicles on our streets. If Mr. Sickles does not think that the safety of our community as well as the safety of children who cross the street is important then I can't imagine having someone like that representing me in Richmond.

Del. Bolvin has been very responsive when it comes to the needs of the Manchester Lakes community as well as the surrounding communities such as Kingstowne and the Beulah Corridor. I hope the people in those communities join me in re-electing Del. Bolvin. He is the only one in this race who cares about the safety of his constituents and not just about getting elected!
