Members of Brownie Girl Scouts Troop 4879 from Broadlands recently visited the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility to learn more about recycling and to see where the garbage goes. The tour included a drive throughout the facility to see how the landfill works as well as how other waste items are diverted for reuse or recycling.
