Balancing Act by Elisabeth Hudgins
"Lost & Found"
Arlington artist Elisabeth Hudgins will be the Featured Artist for First Friday and the month of June at Stifel & Capra. Elisabeth will be exhibiting "Lost & Found" original mixed media paintings inspired by a cache of old photos and letters, found in the attic of a family home. She has re-imagined and reinterpreted these into artworks that combine nostalgia with a twist of modern day. In conjunction with her "Lost and Found" exhibit, Elisabeth Hudgins will be offering mixed media workshops at Stifel & Capra. They will be offered on Monday mornings, and students may sign up for one, two or all. The subjects covered will include: Making Papers, Design and Mixed Media Making.
